Crystal bed therapy is a holistic healing technique that combines the energetic properties of crystals with light therapy. In this practice, crystals—usually quartz—are suspended above the body, with each crystal aligned to one of the seven chakras or energy centers. Colored lights that correspond to the chakra colors are then directed through the crystals onto the body. The goal of crystal bed therapy is to balance the body's energy, cleanse blockages, and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is believed that the amplified energy from the crystals, combined with the healing frequencies of the lights, can enhance relaxation, stimulate healing, and raise one's vibrational frequency.
